Lincroft, NJ - Big wins for Brookdale softball as they stripped the DII Lackawanna College Falcons of two games with scores of 8-2, 11-7.

Lincroft, NJ - Big wins for Brookdale softball as they stripped the DII Lackawanna College Falcons of two games with scores of 8-2, 11-7.
In the 8-2 win, sophomore first baseman, Audra Lowe, and freshman center fielder, Jaylen Campbell, both hit for 2-for-4 including two doubles a piece for three RBI's each. Freshman right fielder, Emma Zazzarino and freshman pitcher, Jules Hart, each added RBI singles. Hart tossed in seven strikeouts in her 7.0 innings in the circle for the win.
Freshman right fielder, Charlee Doherty, was the big RBI producer in game-two with four in her 2-for-4 at bats. Sophomore catcher, Jessica Fay, attached an RBI as did Jules Hart with her 2-for-2 at bats. In the field, Jules finished up the final 3.0 innings of the game with five strikeouts to improve her record to 9-1.
The Jersey Blues (14-4) head to SUNY Orange County Community College to tame the Mustangs on Saturday, March 29th, at 12:00pm.
