Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues softball team cruised past the Camden County College Cougars in a two-game sweep, 18-0, 13-4.
Freshman pitcher Jules Hart won it in the circle in five innings, allowing four hits, one walk, and eight strikeouts. At bat, Hart hit 3-for-4 to knock in three RBI's. Freshman center fielder, Jaylen Campbell, mirrored Hart with three RBI's in her 3-for-4 at bats. Drawing two RBI's a piece was sophomore Zamira Egriu, and freshman Charlee Doherty.
In the 13-4 win, freshman pitcher Jadeyn Pavlik faced 24 batters, allowing only four hits. On the offensive side, sophomore first baseman, Audra Lowe, pummeled two homers for four RBI's and freshman second baseman, Mya Bonilla, went 2-for-3 for two RBI's.
Brookdale (7-1) heads to New Rochelle, NY, next to play the Monroe University Express on Thursday, March 13th, with a 3:00pm start time.
