Edison, NJ - The Brookdale Community College softball team split their doubleheader, 9-8, 8-9, in their conference meeting with the Middlesex College Colts.

Edison, NJ - The Brookdale Community College softball team split their doubleheader, 9-8, 8-9, in their conference meeting with the Middlesex College Colts.
In the Jersey Blues' 9-8, eight inning first game win, freshman winning pitcher, Jules Hart batted 4-for-5 for two RBI's, as freshman left fielder, Carmela Esposito, and freshman second baseman, Mya Bonilla, pulled in another two RBI's to seal the win.
The Blues pulled runs in the 4th, 5th, and 6th innings, but they weren't enough for the tight 8-9 loss in game-two. Sophomore catcher, Jessica Fay, hit 2-for 4 for two RBI's as single RBI's were produced by Bonilla, sophomore first baseman, Audra Lowe, freshman pitcher, Jadeyn Pavlik, and sophomore left fielder, Sara Nazzaro.
Brookdale ( 3-1) will be on the road once again to challenge the DII CCBC-Catonsville Cardinals on Sunday, March 9th, beginning at 12:00pm.
