Shevlin & Fay Chosen For 2024 NJCAA Region XIX Division III Softball All-Region Team

Lincroft, NJ - Two Jersey Blue outstanding softball players, sophomore pitcher, Mallory Shevlin, and freshman center fielder, Jillian Fay, earned their spots on the prestigious NJCAA DIII First Team All-Region 19 Team.

Sophomore pitcher, Mallory Shevlin (Middletown North High School), made 27 appearances on the rubber, striking out 194 (8.76 per game), including a 3.70 ERA and four shut outs. Shevlin surpassed her 300th strikeout as a Jersey Blue and has earned NJCAA DIII Pitcher of the Week, and GSAC DIII Pitcher of the Week. 

Freshman Jillian Fay (Middletown South High School), was flawless in the center field position. She maneuvered quick across the field and has an accurate canon of an arm. Fay appeared in 35 games and averaged .434 at the plate, had 22 RBI's, 46 runs, and 22 stolen bases as well.
