Softball Wins Game One Of Doubleheader At Northampton
Bethlehem, PA - The Jersey Blues won game one of their doubleheader against the Northampton Community College Spartans, 4-2, which was enough for the Blues to sit in the third spot of the Region 19 standings.

Bethlehem, PA - The Jersey Blues won game one of their doubleheader against the Northampton Community College Spartans, 4-2, which was enough for the Blues to sit in the third spot of the Region 19 standings.
Freshman catcher, Jessica Fay, came through big with her 2-for-4 at bats with a double for two RBI's, while sophomore shortstop, Brittany Campbell ans freshman right fielder, Abbey Ford, each had an RBI single. Sophomore pitcher, Mallory Shevlin (13-6), threw for 7.0 innings with 10 strikeouts.
In the second game, 2-0 loss, Brookdale only mustered up four hits which came from Mallory Shevlin with two, including a triple, and freshman sisters, Jillian and Jessica Fay, who each had a single.
Brookdale (15-14) will face the leader of the Region 19 standings, Middlesex College, on Tuesday, April 30th, at 3:30pm in Edison, NJ.
