Brookdale Softball Downs The RCSJ Dukes In Double-Header
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball captured two wins over the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes 7-4, 11-1 in conference play to improve their record to 3-4.

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball captured two wins over the RCSJ-Cumberland Dukes 7-4, 11-1 in conference play to improve their record to 3-4.
Sophomore stud pitcher, Mallory Shevlin, went the long haul pitching all seven innings while striking out eight. Freshman center fielder, Jillian Fay, batted 2-4 with a triple for two RBI's and sophomore shortstop, Brittany Campbell, added an RBI after her 1-3 at bats. Four runs were scored on wild pitches from Cumberland.
In the second game, Shevlin remained in the circle for another five innings, allowing just one earned run and four strikeouts for her third win on the season. Freshman first baseman, Audra Lowe, pumped in three RBI's off of her two triples while freshman catcher, Jessica Fay, brought home another three runs from her double and triple. Freshman center fielder, Jillian Fay contributed a 2RBI double.
Brookdale will travel to Bethlehem, PA to play the Northampton Community College Spartans on Tuesday, April 2nd, for a double-header starting at 3:30pm.
