New Rochelle, NY - The Brookdale softball team opened up with two tough losses to the D1 Monroe College Mustangs, 7-3, 17-0.
In the first game, sophomore shortstop, Brittany Campbell, belted a two-run double in her 2-2 at bats, and freshman catcher, Jessica Fay, hit a sac fly for the third run.
In game two, only two hits were recorded from Campbell, who smacked a triple, and freshman right fielder, Abbey Ford.
The Jersey Blues (0-2) will host the Suffolk County Community College Sharks on Sunday, March 24th, beginning at 12:00pm.
