Edison, NJ - The Brookdale Blues had a tough conference split with the #2 Region 19 ranked, Middlesex College Blue Colts. The #1 region ranked Blues lost the first game, 3-2, but won the second, 9-3.
Freshman right fielder, Charlotte Piper, went 2-2, and connected for a triple and a single, while freshman shortstop, Nicolette Pavlik, produced two singles with her 2-4 at bats in the first game loss.
In the second game, Nicolette Pavlik, added three more hits including a triple, double, and a single for three RBI's. Freshman first baseman and relief winning pitcher, Adriana Noterile, also had a triple, double, and a single for two runs in the 9-3 win. Noterile pitched four innings in relief with no earned runs for her 7th win of the season.
The 21-9 Brookdale Jersey Blues will host the Ocean County College Vikings next, on Wednesday, April 27th @ 4:00pm.
