Brookdale Powers Past The CC Morris Titans
Randolph, NJ - The Jersey Blues softball team powered past the County College of Morris Titans on a road trip double-header, 4-0, 12-3. Freshman winning pitcher, Gianna Praet, threw a 2-hit shutout including 10 strikeouts.
Randolph, NJ - The Jersey Blues softball team powered past the County College of Morris Titans on a road trip double-header, 4-0, 12-3.
Freshman winning pitcher, Gianna Praet, threw a 2-hit shutout including 10 strikeouts. Additionally, three freshman, center fielder Amaya Marrero, infielder Madison Parrish, and first baseman Adriana Noterile, drove in runs with their sacrifice flies for the game one, 4-0 victory.
It was a homerun derby in the game two, 12-3, win with freshman catcher, Alyssa Sigler, leading off with her fifth homer of the season. Then both freshman third baseman, Nicolette Pavlik, and freshman catcher, Zoey Hagan, hit back to back homeruns in the second inning. For Pavlik, it was her fourth homer, and Hagan's second.
Brookdale (11-3) is currently set to play the Ocean County College Vikings on Thursday, April 7th, at 3:30pm on the Lincroft campus.
