Bethlehem, PA - The Jersey Blues softball team are managing to find a bright spot in the displeasureable spring weather as they earned their 6th consecutive win against the Northampton Community College Spartans, 11-5, 6-1.
Freshman pitcher, Gianna Praet, earned her fifth win as she struck out 14. Furthermore, Praet batted 2-4 with two RBI's, and freshman third baseman, Zoey Hagan, batted 3-5 for three RBI's. Also assisting in the win was freshman shortstop, Nicolette Pavlik (2-4) with two RBI's.
Game two winning pitcher, freshman, Adriana Noterile, allowed only one earned run, adding seven strikeouts. Noterile also deposited two hits with an RBI, while Nicolette Pavlik added a two-run double for the Blues.
Brookdale will be on the road again to play the County College of Morris Titans, on Tuesday, April 5th, beginning at 3:30pm.
