Softball Sweeps RCSJ - Cumberland Dukes With Four Homers & Praet Throws Perfect Game
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball had quite a day in the stat book as they took two wins away from the Rowan College South Jersey-Cumberland Dukes in a 14-0, 12-4 double-header.

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale softball had quite a day in the stat book as they took two wins away from the Rowan College South Jersey-Cumberland Dukes in a 14-0, 12-4 double-header.
Freshman pitcher, Gianna Praet, pitched a perfect game with five strikeouts in game one. The bats were on fire at the plate as freshman catcher, Alyssa Sigler, crushed a grand slam, followed by freshman second baseman, Julia Canal, slugging a three-run homer. Adding to the RBI's, both freshman third baseman, Zoey Hagan, and infielder, Madison Parrish, went 3-3, each with an RBI.
In the 12-4 second game victory, freshman winning pitcher, Adriana Noterile, allowed only one earned run and helped on the offensive side with her two-run dinger. The hot streak at the plate continued with a three-run homer by Zoey Hagan, freshman right fielder, Charlotte Piper, hit 3-4 with three RBI's, Alyssa Sigler was another 3-4 batter who added two RBI's, and Gianna Praet totaled three hits for the win as well.
Brookdale (5-3) stays home to host The Genesee Community College Cougars on Friday, April 1st, beginning at 2:30pm.
