Brookdale Finishes Season Strong, Sweeps The Dukes
Vineland, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's softball team finished their 2021 season with two wins under their belts against the RCSJ - Cumberland Dukes.

Vineland, NJ - The Jersey Blues women's softball team finished their 2021 season strong with two wins under their belts against the RCSJ - Cumberland Dukes.
Contributing to the 14-10 first game win was relief pitcher, Charlotte Piper, who never disappoints. Sophomore Jada Spolizino fired up the Blues with her four hits, while freshman Zoey Hagan and Kiliko Lowe both smoked three hits and three RBI's. Sophomore Julia Canal also connected for three hits to record two RBI's.
In the 17-9 second game of the sweep, freshman Charlotte Piper starred with four hits, including three doubles. The second inning was huge for Brookdale as freshman Zoey Hagan blasted a three-run homer, her third of the season, and Alyssa Sigler added a solo homerun. Piper chalked up seven hits in the DH position as freshman Nicolette Pavlik also contributed three hits for the win. Not to go unnoticed, freshman Emily Savicky earned the win as the relief pitcher.
