Shakyra Moore Named Dudley 2019 NJCAA Division III Softball Player Of The Year

Charlotte, NC - Brookdale Community College freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore was named Dudley 2019 NJCAA Division III Softball Player of the Year. Moore had a standout season on the field as she crushed 25 home runs.

With 189 plate appearances, Moore also posted a total of 75 hits including 19 doubles, 68 scored runs and 81 RBI's. She led the Jersey Blues to a third place finish at the national tournament and also topped the leaderboard in home runs for the nation.

For the 2019 season, Shayra Moore was also named to the first NJCAA All-American team, NJCAA DIII Softball Championship Tournament All-Tournament team, NJCAA DIII Softball Player of the Week, Region XIX Player of the Year and GSAC Player of the Week.
