Softball Clinches GSAC Title After Dominating Play At RCGC
Sewell, NJ - The Brookdale softball team clinched the Garden State Athletic Conference title after sweeping the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 4-2 and 11-7.

Sewell, NJ - The Brookdale softball team clinched the Garden State Athletic Conference title after sweeping the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 4-2 and 11-7.
In game one, freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore launched a two-run homer, notching her 23rd of the season. Freshman shortstop Alyssa Vetrano and freshman outfielder Tara Daukshus posted an RBI each.
In game two action, the Blues outlasted the Roadrunners in extra innings. Sophomore outfielder Tori Lucarelli went 4-5 at the plate and knocked in four runs while Vetrano ripped an RBI single. Daukshus also added a two-run single.
Sophomore right handed pitcher Jessica Pszeniczny tallied both wins from the mound.
With the two-game sweep, Brookdale finished out their conference schedule with a record of 9-0 and their overall record stands at 38-9. The team will return to action on the road at Bucks County Community College on Sunday, May 5th at noon.
