Lincroft, NJ - Freshman outfielder Tara Daukshus crushed a grand slam and RBI double against the Bulldogs as the Jersey Blues overpowered Bergen Community College in two five-inning contests, 8-0 and 13-0.
Freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore tallied her 22nd home run while freshman shortstop Alyssa Vetrano went 2-3 with three RBI's. Sophomore right-handed pitcher Jessica Pszeniczny tossed her 19th win.
In game two, sophomore outfielder Tori Lucarelli and freshman catcher Kaitlin Vazquez each contributed one single, one double and one RBI. Freshman Katy McGovern spun for the win.
With the two-game series win, the team improves to 36-9 and will next take the field down at Rowan College at Gloucester County on Thursday, May 2nd at 3:30pm
