Blackwood, NJ - Sophomore second baseman Elizabeth Dorsa knocked in two RBI's as the Jersey Blues sprinted past the Cougars of Camden County College, 15-4 and 11-4.
Freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore ripped a three-run homer while freshman shortstop Alyssa Vetrano posted two hits and three RBI's. Sophomore outfielder Tori Lucarelli and freshman outfielder Felicia Kuegler each contributed two hits and two RBI's as sophomore righty Jessica Pszeniczny tossed for the win.
In game two action, freshman first baseman Megan Masi and sophomore shortstop Alyssa Raimondo each connected for two hits and two RBI's while Lucarelli stayed consistent and ripped two more hits and scored two runs. Freshman pitcher Katy McGovern threw for the win as Pszeniczny came in relief for two innings.
With the sweep of the two-game series, the team improves to 29-8 and will return home on Wednesday, April 24th to take on the DII Vikings of Mercer County Community College at 3pm.
