Softball Sweeps Ocean Vikings In Conference Action; Tara Daukshus Launches Solo Home Run
Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues swept the Vikings of Ocean County College in conference action, 9-1 and 19-0. Freshman third baseman Tara Daukshus launched a solo home run while freshman outfielder Felicia Kuegler contributed a two-run single.

Sophomore righty Jessica Pszeniczny notched her 10th win from the win.
Freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore sparked Brookdale's offense with two grand slams and one three-run homer for a total of 11 RBI's. Sophomore shortstop Alyssa Raimondo and sophomore second baseman Elizabeth Dorsa each went 3-4 at bat. Freshman pitcher Katy McGovern collected her eighth win of the season while striking out seven Ocean batters.
With the win, the team improves to 21-7 and will next take on the Barons of Rowan College at Burlington County on Wednesday, April 10th at 3pm.
