Bronx, NY - The Brookdale softball team dropped two games to the DI Mustangs of Monroe College, 5-3 and 10-5.
In game one, freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore collected two hits. Moore crushed a two-run single while freshman catcher Kaitlin Vazquez knocked in one run. In game two, freshman outfielder Felicia Kuegler ripped a solo home run while sophomore outfielder Hallie Barone smacked an RBI triple.
The team will travel back home to face Delaware Technical Community College on Sunday, March 24th at 1pm.
