Jersey Blues Split DH In Myrtle Beach; Brookdale Defeats Herkimer College, 10-7
Myrtle Beach, SC - The Brookdale softball squad recorded a 10-7 win over the Generals of Herkimer College in game one of the doubleheader. Sophomore second baseman Elizabeth Dorsa and sophomore outfielder Tori Lucarelli each went 3-4 at the plate and knocked in two runs.

Myrtle Beach, SC - The Brookdale softball squad recorded a 10-7 win over the Generals of Herkimer College in game one of the doubleheader. Sophomore second baseman Elizabeth Dorsa and sophomore outfielder Tori Lucarelli each went 3-4 at the plate and knocked in two runs.
Freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore smashed her first home run of the season and added a double. Sophomore pitcher Alyssa Raimondo spun for the win while sophomore Jessica Pszeniczny collected the save.
In game two against the Indians of USC Salkehatchie, Brookdale fell, 8-1. Freshman third baseman Tara Daukshus contributed two hits while Raimondo added one single and one scored run.
Brookdale's record now stands at 5-1. The team will return to action on Monday, March 18th to face North Central Missouri College and Finger Lakes Community College in back-to-back games.
