Softball Sweeps Anne Arundel In First Appearance
Arnold, MD - The Jersey Blues softball team opened the 2019 season with a sweep of the Anne Arundel Riverhawks, 13-2 and 8-0. In game one, freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore went 3-4 with one RBI while sophomore outfielder Tori Lucarelli recorded two hits and one RBI.

Arnold, MD - The Jersey Blues softball team opened the 2019 season with a sweep of the Anne Arundel Riverhawks, 13-2 and 8-0. In game one, freshman third baseman Shakyra Moore went 3-4 with one RBI while sophomore outfielder Tori Lucarelli recorded two hits and one RBI.
Sophomore pitcher Jessica Pszeniczny notched the win.
In game two, Moore added two more hits and one RBI as sophomore first baseman Mackenzie Thomas connected three times at the plate and knocked in one run. Freshman Katy McGovern tossed the shutout.
Brookdale will return to action on Saturday, March 16th on the road at Richard Bland College for their next outing.
