Paige Eckert Signs National Letter Of Intent For Georgian Court University
Lincroft, NJ – Sophomore second baseman Paige Eckert has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Georgian Court University on an academic and athletic scholarship. Eckert will continue to play softball for the Lions this spring.
Lincroft, NJ – Sophomore second baseman Paige Eckert has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Georgian Court University on an academic and athletic scholarship. Eckert will continue to play softball for the Lions this spring.
In her two years at Brookdale, the Howell native totaled 154 hits. Eckert recorded 11 home runs, eight triples, 39 doubles, 112 RBI's, 15 stolen bases and 115 scored runs while turning 13 double plays in the field. For the 2018 season, Eckert was named to the first All-Region and All-GSAC teams and earned the title of MVP for the Region XIX tournament, District E. For the 2017 season, Paige earned second team All-Region and first team All-GSAC honors.
Paige's favorite memories as a Jersey Blue were competing at the national tournament in Minnesota in back to back seasons and building lasting friendships with her teammates and coaches.
"I chose to transfer to Georgian Court because of the competitive softball program. I will also be close to my family and friends which is very important to me," she said.
Georgian Court University is a Division II four-year institution located in Lakewood, NJ.
