Softball Clinches GSAC Title With DH Victory Over Camden Cougars
Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues softball team clinched the Garden State Athletic Conference title with the doubleheader victory over the Cougars of Camden County College, 3-2 and 10-0.

Lincroft, NJ- The Jersey Blues softball team clinched the Garden State Athletic Conference title with the doubleheader victory over the Cougars of Camden County College, 3-2 and 10-0.
In game one, sophomore center-fielder Katrina Hand went 4-4 and scored three runs while freshman third baseman Alyssa Raimondo collected the walk-off RBI single in the bottom of the seventh to grab the win. Sophomore catcher Bridget Coulahan drove in two runs as sophomore lefty Bobbie Beck struck out eight batters.
Sophomore second baseman Paige Eckert smacked a two-run homer and RBI double in the second game of the two-game series. Paige remains on top of the leader board with 60 RBI's. Raimondo continued to produce at the plate and knocked out a two-run home run while Hand connected for a three-run double. Sophomore pitcher Rachel Hrevnak collected the win with five strikeouts.
The team will return to action in the Region XIX tournament hosted by Cumberland County College on Saturday, May 5th.
