Softball Sweeps RCBC In Doubleheader
Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team swept the Barons of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 9-1 and 5-1. Sophomore pitcher Bobbie Beck tossed for the win in game one, notching her 9th victory from the mound.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale softball team swept the Barons of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 9-1 and 5-1. Sophomore pitcher Bobbie Beck tossed for the win in game one, notching her 9th victory from the mound.
Sophomore second baseman Paige Eckert, sophomore center-fielder Katrina Hand, freshman outfielder Tori Lucarelli, freshman catcher Michelle King and freshman outfielder Carley Layton all connected twice at the plate.
In game two, sophomore Rachel Hrevnak pitched for the win and went 3-3 at bat. Hrevnak also knocked in two runs. Freshman outfielder Alex Smedberg and freshman third baseman Alyssa Raimondo each posted RBI singles.
The Jersey Blues improve their overall record to 20-13. The team returns to action on Wednesday, April 18th to face the Lions of Raritan Valley Community College for a doubleheader beginning at 3:00pm.
