Freshman Rachel Hrevnak Earns GSAC Pitcher Of The Week Honors

Branchburg, NJ- Freshman Rachel Hrevnak from Brookdale Community College has been named Garden State Athletic Conference Division III softball pitcher of the week.

In one appearance in the circle this weekend, Hrevnak went the distance, allowing no earned runs and striking out two Cecil batters. The freshman right-handed pitcher worked around a tough third inning, rebounding to collect the win as the Jersey Blue battled back and came from behind to take a 4-2 victory in game one of a doubleheader sweep against Cecil College.

The Jersey Blues are 8-4 on the 2017 season.
