Myrtle Beach, SC- Sophomore catcher Olivia Carbone smashed a three-run double as the Jersey Blues defeated the Falcons of Southeastern Illinois College in game one, 7-2.

Myrtle Beach, SC- Sophomore catcher Olivia Carbone smashed a three-run double as the Jersey Blues defeated the Falcons of Southeastern Illinois College in game one, 7-2.
Sophomore left-fielder Taylor Mennie posted two hits for one home-run and knocked in two RBI's. At bat, freshman second baseman Paige Eckert collected three hits and one RBI as freshman right-handed pitcher Rachel Hrevnak posted the win from the mound, tallying her third victory of the season.
In game two, Brookdale edged Southeastern Illinois, 19-7. Sophomore shortstop Nikki Alfano and freshman first baseman Veronica Woehr each recorded a solo home-run and four scored runs. Alfano also added three hits. Eckert continued to produce from the plate and notched four more hits for three doubles and two RBI's.
The team improves their overall record to 6-3 and will face the Generals of Herkimer College on Wednesday, March 15th at 9am in Myrtle Beach, SC.
