Myrtle Beach, SC- The Brookdale softball team fell to the Lady Roadrunners of Delaware Technical Community College-Owens, 15-9 and the Lazers of Onondaga Community College, 9-3.
In game one against the Lady Roadrunners, three Jersey Blues ripped home-runs. Sophomore third baseman Danelle Lewis crushed a grand slam, freshman first baseman Veronica Woehr smacked a two-run homer and sophomore first baseman Bethany Evans smashed a solo home-run.
In game two against the Lazers, Woehr's bat stayed hot and tallied three more hits and two RBI's.
The Jersey Blues will next take on the Falcons of Southeastern Illinois College on Tuesday, March 14th in Myrtle Beach, SC.
