Sara Vocisano Drives In Four Runs; Brookdale Overwhelms Luzerne County Community College
Nanticoke, PA- The Jersey Blues softball team overwhelmed the Trailblazers of Luzerne County Community College, 19-4 and 18-0. In game one, sophomore outfielder Sara Vocisano went 2-4 from the plate, driving in four runs. Freshman Victoria Vogt earned her fourth win of the season, striking out three batters and allowing only four hits.

In game two, sophomore first baseman Caroline Abin, freshman second baseman Taylor Sheridan and freshman third baseman Briana Calabrese each smashed a home run. Sophomore pitcher Kaitlyn Kretzmer earned her first win of the season, striking out six Trailblazer batters.
The team improves their record to 9-4 overall. Brookdale returns to the field at home on Wednesday, April 1st against the Vikings of Ocean County College.
