Myrtle Beach, SC- The Jersey Blues downed the Falcons of Lackawanna College, 6-3 in game one. Sophomore pitcher Courtney Semkewyc drilled a solo home run to put the Blues on the board.
Freshman shortstop Cassie Varvaro recorded three hits, three stolen bases and one RBI for the team while freshman pitcher Victoria Vogt threw for the win.
In game two, Brookdale fell to Rochester Community and Technical College, 2-1.
The Jersey Blues return to action on Sunday, March 22nd against Lehigh Carbon Community College.
