Myrtle Beach, SC- The Brookdale softball team downed the Hawks of College of Southern Maryland, 11-9. With bases loaded, freshman Taylor Sheridan knocked out a 3-run triple. Sheridan also ripped a solo home run late in the game.

Myrtle Beach, SC- The Brookdale softball team downed the Hawks of College of Southern Maryland, 11-9. With bases loaded, freshman Taylor Sheridan knocked out a 3-run triple. Sheridan also ripped a solo home run late in the game.
Freshman outfielder Amanda Pringle, freshman shortstop Cassie Varvaro and sophomore catcher Morgan T. Schweitzer each collected three hits apiece.
In game two, the Jersey Blues fell to Onondaga Community College, 5-4. Sophomore outfielder Sara Vocisano tallied two hits while freshman catcher Alexandria Montefinese and sophomore first baseman Caroline Abin recorded two hits and an RBI each.
The team returns to action on Tuesday, March 17th against Finger Lakes Community College and Herkimer College.
