Softball Tops Sussex; Hosey Throws No-Hitter; Brzozowski and Semkewyc Smack 3-Run Homers
Newton, NJ- The Jersey Blues defeated the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College, 12-0 and 15-4. In game one, sophomore pitcher Samantha Hosey threw a no-hitter with 6 strikeouts. Sophomore center fielder Cassidy Brzozowksi went 4-4 at the plate including a 3-run homer. She also drove in 5 RBI's.

Newton, NJ- The Jersey Blues defeated the Skylanders of Sussex County Community College, 12-0 and 15-4. In game one, sophomore pitcher Samantha Hosey threw a no-hitter with 6 strikeouts. Sophomore center fielder Cassidy Brzozowski went 4-4 at the plate including a 3-run homer. She also drove in 5 RBI's.
In game two, sophomore pitcher Krystal Pearson threw for the win. Her overall record from the mound is 6-3. Freshman pitcher Courtney Semkewyc smacked a 3-run homer. She went 3-3 for the day.
Softball returns to action on Thursday, April 10th against Middlesex County College at home.
