Brookdale Men's Cross Country Post In Top 10 At The Region Championship
Newark, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross-country team ran a great race in the Region 19 championship as our top Jersey Blues finished in the top 10.
Newark, NJ - The Brookdale men's cross-country team ran a terrific race as they finished in the top 10 of the DIII Region 19 Championship at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ.
The 8k for was led by freshman, Gavin Tay and Andrew Lorig, who placed 4th and 5th overall respectfully. Next across the line for the Blues was freshman, Harmon Hass, who placed 14th overall, and then running his best race of the year placing 4th for Brookdale, 17th overall, was freshman Alex Carrillo. Next was freshman, Jeremy Villagra-Castro, who came in 5th for the Blues, and 18th overall, followed by sophomore Aidan Casucci, who was 19th overall. Twenty first across the line was sophomore, Lance Bennette, freshman Diego Alva was was 23rd, freshman Scott Hurst was 24th, sophomore Jack Kratka at 27th, freshman Fredson Rodriguez-Segovia was 29th, sophomore Isaias Usurin at 30th, and freshman Carmine Isaac finished 38th.
Brookdale will prepare to compete in the NJCAA DIII National Championships which takes place on Saturday, November 9th, at the Pole Green Park in Richmond, VA.
