Brookdale Men Suffer Double Loss In Volleyball Tri-Match

Toms River, NJ - The Brookdale men's volleyball team suffered two losses over the weekend in a tri-match against the Ocean County College Vikings and the Northampton Community College Spartans.

In the first match against Ocean CC, The Blues lost 0-3 with scores of 17-25, 16-25, and 13-25. Freshman outside hitter, Jonny Ortega, led Brookdale and combined for 15 kills, four service aces, and 22 digs.

In the second Northampton match, Brookdale took another 0-3 loss with posted scores of 10-25, 9-25, and 12-25. Freshman opposite hitter, Andres Camacho, posted three kills and five digs for Brookdale.

The Jersey Blues (1-6) will host the Union College Owls on Wednesday, March 13th at 6:00pm.
