Brookdale Grounds Rockland Hawks 6-3 In Tennis Match

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's tennis team grounded the Hawks of Rockland Community College, 6-3. The Jersey Blues forfeited two points to start and earned victories in six of the seven matches played.

First and second doubles won 8-4 and 8-1 respectively as sophomore Mostafa Moamen swept first singles in two sets, 6-1, 6-2. Sophomore Emir Hamzic blanked his Hawk opponent at third singles, 6-0, 6-0 while fourth singles Jacob Evans and fifth singles Riad Hamzic notched 6-0, 6-1 set winners.

With the win, the team cruises to a 4-0 overall record and returns to the courts at Harford Community College for a tournament on Saturday, April 8th and Sunday, April 9th.
