Brookdale Takes Down RCGC Roadrunners, 6-3

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's tennis team took down the Roadrunners of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 6-3 in the conference match-up. The Jersey Blues opened up the match with three solid victories in doubles play.

In singles action, sophomore Conner Prasad downed his opponent at third singles in three sets, 6-2, 2-6, 7-5. Prasad came from behind to earn the win.  Freshman fourth singles Jacob Evans earned a two-set victory, 6-4, 7-6 after being down 5-1 in the tiebreaker. Sophomore Triston Spennato took fifth singles, 6-1, 6-3.

The team played really hard and never gave up. This was an awesome win for the Jersey Blues. With the win, Brookdale improves their overall record to 3-2 and will next face the Vikings of Mercer County Community College at home on Tuesday, April 26th.
