Men's Tennis Earns 7-2 Victory Over Bergen Bulldogs
Paramus, NJ- The Jersey Blues men's tennis team defeated the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 7-2. Freshmen first doubles partners Conner Prasad and Triston Spennato opened up the match with an 8-6 win over their opponents.
Paramus, NJ- The Jersey Blues men's tennis team defeated the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College, 7-2. Freshmen first doubles partners Conner Prasad and Triston Spennato opened up the match with an 8-6 win over their opponents.
Sophomore John Wills and freshman Leif Pettersen took second doubles, 8-1. In singles action, Prasad defeated his opponent at first singles, 6-3, 6-0 while Spennato swept second singles in two sets, 6-3, 6-1.
Wills blanked his opponent in two straight sets, 6-0, 6-0 at third singles. Freshman Kevin Martin and Pettersen earned a two-set win of their own at fourth and fifth singles, downing their opponents 6-2, 7-6(4) and 6-1, 6-4.
The team returns to action on Monday, April 27th against the Vikings of Mercer County Community College.
