Deptford, NJ - The Brookdale Jersey Blues men's soccer team put together a solid first half against RCSJ-Gloucester after answering to the Roadrunners first goal at 28:00 to make the score 1-1 just one minute before the half.
Freshman midfielder, Thomas Valinotti, came through off the pass from midfielder, Adam Kotby, for Brookdale's lone goal. The Blues couldn't hold on in the second half as the Roadrunner's went on to score three more goals in the 4-1 defeat. RCSJ-Gloucester outshot the Blues 19-10 and tallied seven corner kicks to Brookdale's three. Freshman goalie, Lucas Hutnik, did his best to help the Jersey Blues with his five saves in the net.
Brookdale will be home for their next match to play the Raritan Valley Community College Lions on Tuesday, October 15th, beginning at 4:00pm.
