Men's Soccer Dominates In 9-0 Victory Over CC Morris
Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale men's soccer secured their second win of the season in dominant fashion over the CC Morris Titans, 9-0, in a conference game. The Jersey Blues are now 2-5-1 on the season overall and 2-3-1 in the region.

Lincroft, NJ - Brookdale men's soccer secured their second win of the season in dominant fashion over the CC Morris Titans, 9-0, in a conference game. The Jersey Blues are now 2-5-1 on the season overall and 2-3-1 in the region.
Just 1:28 into the game, freshman midfielder, Wyatt Vicente, connected with sophomore defender, Timothy Bertscha for goal number one. About two minutes later, it was Bertscha for goal number two and Vicente with the assist. At the 40:09 mark, freshman defender Jake Isaksen scored off of a pass from freshman midfielder, Thomas Vilinotti. Bertscha registered his second goal of the day from Vicente at 40:44 and then Vicente scored his second as well with 10 minutes remaining in the first half.
The Blues enjoyed most of the possession in the second half as freshman forward, Oumar Diout, opened the scoring with assistance from freshman midfielder, Kevin Silva, at 60:00. Just two minutes later, freshman midfielder/goalie, Lucas Hutnik, scored off a ball from freshman midfielder, Sage Finch. Freshman midfielder, David Merino, scored the eighth goal of the game with the assist from freshman forward, Lowensky Fifi at 72:00. The ninth and final goal of the day was scored by freshman midfielder, Kizto Odinamkpa, with the conversion from freshman midfielder Nicholas Spisak.
Brookdale will be on the road Thursday, September 19th to take on the Essex County College Wolverines. Game time is set for 3:30pm.
