Men's Soccer Finish Region Semi's With A 3-2 Loss In Battle With Raritan Valley
Branchburg, NJ -As the #5 seed in the Region 19 North Atlantic District A semi-finals, the Brookdale men's soccer team fought to the bitter end in their 3-2 loss against the #4 seeded Raritan Valley Community College Lions.

Branchburg, NJ - As the #5 seed in the Region 19 North Atlantic District A semi-finals, the Brookdale men's soccer team fought to the bitter end in their 3-2 loss against the #4 seeded Raritan Valley Community College Lions.
The two goals from Brookdale came from freshman midfielder, Jose Rincon (Long Branch High School). Rincon scored his first goal off of a free kick just 10 seconds before the end of the first half, and his second was assisted by freshman midfielder, Sam Pearlberg (Fox Soccer Academy, UK) at the 55:00 mark. Raritan Valley tied the score up twice within one and two minutes after each of Brookdale's goals which made the game super intense.
The Jersey Blues finished with an overall record of 8-7-3, 7-3-2 in Region 19, and 6-3-2 in the Garden State Athletic Conference.
