Atlantic Cape Buccaneers Surrender To The Jersey Blues In 8-2 Win

Lincroft, NJ - The Jersey Blues men's soccer team saw plenty of game time and spread the wealth with goals from six Jersey Blues in their 8-2 defeat over the Atlantic Cape Community College Buccaneers.

Freshman midfielder, Ricardo Mozo-Mendoza got the ball rolling in the net with goal number one at 6:18 off of a pass from freshman forward, Owen Chapman. Freshman midfielder, Jose Rincon, scored his first goal of two on the day with the assist from sophomore forward, Alexander Roman. Roman earned his second assist just minutes after as freshman forward, Jairo Chira, scored the third Brookdale goal. It was Jose Rincon again at 43:27 with the put-in from Mozo-Mendozo.

Two minutes into the second half freshman midfielder, Mario Mozo, provided a pass to freshman midfielder, Sam Pearlberg, for goal number five. Pealberg contributed to the following goal, finding sophomore forward, Ajani Bruney, for his second goal of the season. Freshman midfielder, Silverio Ortiz, was responsible for the two final assists of the game for Jairo Chira and freshman forward, Aidan Solomon.

Brookdale is 8-5-2 and will be on their home field next to play the RCSJ-Gloucester Roadrunners on Saturday, October 14th, at 12:00pm.
