Blackwood, NJ - A rough outing for the Jersey Blues men's soccer team as they dropped a conference game against the Camden County College Cougars, 3-2.
The Cougars scored within the first two minutes of the game and the Blues did not answer until 10 minutes into the 2nd half. Sophomore midfielder, Louis Cajas, secured a ball to the foot of fellow sophomore midfielder, Liam Mulvey, to tie up the game, 1-1. Camden knocked in two more goals on sophomore goalie, Matti Tenhunen, who had four saves on the day. In the final 10 minutes of play, Liam Mulvey, was in the mix once again as he delivered an assist to freshman midfielder, Kristopher Maza, for the final goal of the game.
Brookdale's next opponent is the Union College Owls on Tuesday, October 4th, 2:45pm, at the Capelli Sports Complex, field #1, in Tinton Falls, NJ.
