Blues Go Double Overtime To Beat CC Morris In 1-0 Battle
Randolph, NJ - The Brookdale men's soccer team had to dig deep as they put away the CC Morris Titans in a double overtime battle with a 1-0 final score.

Randolph, NJ - The Brookdale men's soccer team had to dig deep as they put away the CC Morris Titans in a double overtime battle with a 1-0 final score.
From the start of the whistle, the Blues were on the front foot attacking the Titans at all cost. Brookdale was peppering the goal early and often, but the stand-out CC Morris keeper made tremendous plays with save after save.
The Blues finally broke down the Titan keeper in the 2nd overtime when sophomore forward, Dane Calhoun, had a beautiful give-n-go, beating his defender. Calhoun pushed forward, beating the last man with opportunity to strike at the goal, but the keeper made another save. Calhoun, determined and resilient, received the rebound, squared the ball to freshman forward, Liam Stewart, who then buried the game winning shot.
The Blues (6-4-1) men will head north again on Tuesday, October 12th, to the Raritan Valley Community College Lion's den for a 3:30pm start.
