Toms River, NJ - The Brookdale men's soccer team suffered a tough 2-1 conference loss to the Ocean County College Vikings.
Brookdale had numerous chances to score goals, but the concluded with just one. The Blues were scored upon early on Ocean's free kick in the 2nd minute of the game, but quickly responded with a penalty shot from freshman forward, Liam Stewart.
Moments later with the game tied 1-1, the Vikings scored again. The Blues lost momentum following Ocean's second goal as the Viking's plan was to just defend their goal for the remainder of the game for the win.
The Blues (5-4-1) are off to battle the Titans of CC Morris on Monday, October 11th, at 3:30pm.
