Toms River, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team topped the Vikings of Ocean County College, 2-0. The Jersey Blues dominated play and were solid in the back field.

Toms River, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team topped the Vikings of Ocean County College, 2-0. The Jersey Blues dominated play and were solid in the back field.
Freshman forward Chris Firriolo put the Blues on the board early, netting the first goal of the game. Freshman defender Sergio Pereira dished the assist. With just seconds remaining on the clock, sophomore forward Marlhens Nasanes capitalized on the Vikings overloading their offense and scored the second and final goal of the game off a pass from freshman midfielder Enrique Perez-Lopez.
With the win, the team improves their region record to 5-4-2. Brookdale returns home to face the Lions of Raritan Valley Community College on Saturday, October 21st in the first round of the region tournament at noon.
