Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team edged the Bears of Harcum College, 3-1. Sophomore forward Guilherme DeNovaes put the Blues on the board early in the first half, netting the first goal of the game off a cross from sophomore forward Hakeem Wood.
In the first minute of the second half, Guilherme tallied his second goal of the game from the penalty kick line. Freshman midfielder Wadneson Alexis recorded one goal while freshman midfielder Bronsen Dhume contributed one assist. Freshman goalkeeper Matthew Ribot collected four saves in net.
The team improves their overall record to 3-0. Brookdale returns to action on Tuesday, September 6th for a 3:30pm kick-off against the Bulldogs of Bergen Community College.
