Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team downed the Dukes of Cumberland County College, 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the Region XIX tournament. In the 83rd minute of the game, freshman midfielder Stevenley Joseph received the ball from the foot of freshman midfielder Douglas Silva and ripped the lone goal of the match.

Lincroft, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team downed the Dukes of Cumberland County College, 1-0 in the quarter-finals of the Region XIX tournament. In the 83rd minute of the game, freshman midfielder Stevenley Joseph received the ball from the foot of freshman midfielder Douglas Silva and ripped the lone goal of the match.
The Jersey Blues held strong in the back with freshmen defenders Claudio Martins and Connor Crosby playing strong defensive games. Sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre grabbed four saves for his second straight shutout.
The team will travel to Sussex County County Community College for the semi-final match-up on Wednesday, October 28th at 2:30pm.
