Paterson, NJ- The Brookdale men's soccer team edged the Panthers of Passaic County Community College, 3-2. In the first half, the Blues were down by one until freshman midfielder Douglas Silva tied the score after netting the team's first goal.
Freshman forward Alex Cella led the Blues offense with two goals while sophomore midfielder Lucas Andrade recorded two assists. Sophomore goalkeeper Luis Aguirre collected four saves in net.
The team improves their overall record to 4-0. Brookdale returns to action on the road at Rowan College at Gloucester County on Saturday, September 12th for a 12:00pm kick-off.
