Ocean Vikings Surge Past The Brookdale Blues Men, 84-81

Toms River, NJ - The Brookdale men's basketball team had a two-point advantage at the half over the Ocean County College Vikings, but in the final minutes of the game, the underdog Vikings surged past the Blues to secure the win, 84-81.

Leading the Blues' battle with a double-double was sophomore forward, Regan Burke, with 21 points and 10 rebounds. Matching with 15 key points a piece was sophomore guard, Bruce Gooding, and freshman forward, Devyn Wright-Myles. Sophomore guard, Latrell Thompson, reported 14 points and freshman guard, Keith Allen, put up 12 points.

Brookdale, 15-7, travels to the Passaic County College Panthers den next on Tuesday, February 4th, for a 7:00pm start.
