Brookdale Men Capture Big Region Win Over Union Owls
Lincroft, NJ -The Brookdale Community College men's basketball team captured a big win over the Union College Owls with a 77-66 final score. Prior to Union match-up, the Jersey Blues sat in 4th place in Region 19 with Union being in 2nd. Currently, the Blues find themselves in the first place spot with a 9-2 overall record, 7-1 in the conference.

Despite being outmatched in size, Brookdale fought hard from start to finish to defeat the Owls led by sophomore forward, Regan Burke. Burke landed 18 points, 14 rebounds, and five steals while sophomore guard, Latrell Thompson, also posted a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore guard, Jack Zink, hit for a helpful 11 points in the big win.
Brookdale heads to Camden County College to face the Cougars next on Saturday, December 7th, at 2:00pm.
