Herkimer, NY - The Brookdale men's basketball team (#5) were pumped from the get-go, then went on to derail the #4 seeded Montgomery County Community College Mustangs (PA) in a huge 88-60 win to advance to the semifinals of the NJCAA DIII National Championship.

Herkimer, NY - The Brookdale men's basketball team (#5) were pumped from the get-go, then went on to derail the #4 seeded Montgomery County Community College Mustangs (PA) in a huge 88-60 win to advance to the semifinals of the NJCAA DIII National Championship.
The Blues were led by freshman forward, Savon Myers, who played a savage game with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Sophomore center, Darnell Askew, went 10-11 from the field, dropping 20 points and two statement dunks to finish the game. Freshman forward, Regan Burke, contributed key stats in his time with 11 points, 10 rebounds, and four assists to help the Blues.
Brookdale (28-1) will face the #1 seed, Dallas-North Lake Blazers (27-4), on Friday, March 15th, for a 5:00pm tip-off.
