The heartbreaking loss was the only loss after a 26 game winning streak for the Blues, but thankfully the season is not over yet. Leading the Jersey Blues in scoring was sophomore forward, Manny Bell, with 21 points, as freshman forward, Savon Myers, posted a double-double of 14 points and 10 rebounds. Freshman guard, Regan Burke, put up 11 points and four steals, and sophomore center, Darnell Askew, helped with 11 points. Notably, sophomore point guard, Kareem Irby, tallied seven assists.
Brookdale (26-1) is waiting on the large bid selection for the National Tournament which takes place from Wednesday, March 13th to Saturday, March 16th, at Herkimer College in Herkimer, NY.
